just completed remixes for xiescive (as dryft) anklebiter (as dryft) and subtractiveLAD (as bitcrush). The latter will be part of bonus material that will come with pre-orders of his 2011 album kindred.
the remix of the song of embers by port-royal will be included on that band's release 2000-2010:the golden age of consumerism which is also due out in 2011.
if you come here for dryft news... the album ventricle is out on n5MD. the studio is all put back together and i am currently writing. for the first time i do not have a set plan for what project gets my focus i will just complete songs as they come to me in whatever style i am feeling at the momment. a good place to be creatively i think. the first track i have completed is a rather bleak bitcrush track...it may set the tone...i may have a plan after all 8^). the m.cadoo album desity is just about finished but still in a bit of limbo as i figure out how i'd like ot release it. for more up to the minute news and bites there are bitcrush and dryft facebook pages. I am currently working on a website that will put all my projects' news, discographies and infos in one place as things seem to be a bit too fragmented now. I will try to cover as much as i can...i may be going backward to include gridlock and pre-gridlock projects (maybe even info on the end, still, gravel mantra, brood, skinlab et all). it's a rather large undertaking so please bear with me... |

there has been a lack of updates on my part so there is a lot of news to report. sutemos the lithuanian netlabel / webzine will be releasing a compilation that will be available soon at their site. the comp features a collaboration between subtractiveLAD and bitcrush. uk photographer/videographer lyrical (liam frankland) is currently working on a video for "colder". work has begun on new material as well as deconstruction of bitcrush material for the full band live set-up. the current cast of characters include myself, serge vladimiroff of the guilty party (guitar), paul stefan a.k.a. xoloder (bass) and steve watkins of scar tissue fame on drums. this "band" is still in the embryonic stage but things look very promising. the dryft resurrection is on hold until there is more time to spend on it. there may be a unreleased, rare, and remix bitcrush release on the horizon... |
